Flucht nach Coral Bay

Der Cyclon traf zwar Exmouth nicht. Da die Strasse dort leicht ueberfluten, war die Gefahr latent, dass wir dort stecken bleiben. Somit entschied ich nach Coral Bay zu fahren, wo uns der Weg Richtung Norden wieder offen steht.

Leider sind die Strassen noch bis auf weiters gesperrt und wir muessen abwarten bis wir nach Broom fahren koennen.

Nun ist der zweite Cyclon im anmarsch....

A CYCLONE WARNING for Tropical Cyclone Jacob for coastal areas from Onslow toPardoo with a CYCLONE WATCH for remaining coastal areas from Coral Bay toBidyadanga, extending to inland Pilbara to include Paraburdoo, Tom Price,Newman, Nullagine and Marble Bar. Flood Warnings for the De Grey river catchment and Pilbara coastal rivers.Isolated showers and thunderstorms, but fine in the southwest. Moderate to freshSE winds shifting fresh NW'ly in the north. Showers, thunderstorms increasing inthe north late Sunday as TC Jacob approaches the coast. Winds possibly becomingdestructive near the coast late in the day.

... und wir hoffen nun, dass wir es immer noch bis nach Broome schaffen und nicht zurueck nach Perth muessen. Action!!!
